Lerchenborg: Scandinavia's largest Photovoltaic Plant

The Lerchenborg Project is Scandinavia's largest solar power plant, located in Lerchenborg on the island of Zealand, Denmark. Started on August 11, 2015, the solar farm began commercial operation by the end of the same year.

The numbers

Covering 80 hectares, this ground installation comprises 248,730 solar modules on fixed structures, accompanied by 1,750 inverters. It generates an annual energy output of 61,000 MWh, sufficient to power 30,000 households and effectively decrease CO2 emissions by 87,000 tons annually.

PV Eurosolution's contribution

PV Eurosolution successfully met the technical and logistical challenges during the project implementation. Careful planning, use of best practices, and adoption of state-of-the-art technology enabled the PV Eurosolution team to complete the project on time and on budget.

Specifically, PV Eurosolution was responsible for the mechanical installation of the support structures and PV modules, thus ensuring the efficiency and reliability of the Lerchenborg solar park.
